This current political affairs in this country is highly related with the existence of parties as an important element to formed government’s actors. It’s because parties are people’s political tools to grasp their expectation and those parties are become one of an important element in the election. Because of that, Research Information Institute (Lembaga Riset Infomasi, LRI) is trying to highlight the existence of parties as an element on government structure and system

• This poll focused on people’s enthusiasm and assessment toward to parties and the highest boards of govenrment.
• This poll was held on 14-22 May 2008.
• This poll is about parties and the highest boards of government which held before the name and a number of parties, whose take a part in the election 2009, are being declared.

Research Objectives

• Acknowledging public’s enthusiasm and opinion on political parties.
• Acknowledging early bird voter’s assessment on political parties.
• Acknowledging people’s awareness on government’s line nowadays.

Research Significances

• For society: giving political education about parties and the highest boards of government.
• For parties: generally, giving references on people’s assessment about parties to be tidy-up.
• For science: increasing people’s storage of knowledges either on parties’s growth or the highest boards of government’s growth.
  

Research Methodology

• The Indonesiapolling had done in May 2008, 33 provinces all over Indonesia.
• Sampling method is Multi-Stage Random Sampling. The sample is pulling with several steps.
• The amount of sample is 1504 respondents with margin of error  approximately 2.53%, with level of confidence 95%.
• The sample was taken from resident data especially Indonesian who already has electorate right, or who had married.
• This research implementate by vis-à-vis interview and using questioner.
