Freedom in obtaining information is the rights of human in the world. At this time globalization era, information circulates hardly quickly to all world regions with faster and sophisticated information technology support. Information which transmission through telecommunications and communications process can create peacefulness in world, conversely also able to result in chaos. If unmanaged prudently by people who having high morality, hence freedom of information at globalization era rather than giving benefit however generating disaster.

It has become a responsibility and necessity for mankind and government in all state of the world, to continuously strive so that freedom of information can be exploited greatly for prosperity of mankind and reconcilement of all world region. World Economic expert, Joseph E. Stigliz gets Nobel Prize for his research which conception in “Unsymmetrical Information Distribution Theory.” Research into this theorem proves there is correlation between poorness with incompletely obtaining information between upper economic faction (rich) and lower economic faction (impecunious).

Vision and idealism of forming Information Research Institute (LRI) based on its reasoning. Information Research Institute (LRI) was expected to give positive contribution for nation and Indonesian Republic Unity State (NKRI). LRI partake to participate in becoming information distribution operator to all NKRI regions and all world regions, to obtain information generalization accurately and continue to avoid distortion to the information. In the end, LRI is also expected to create conducive climate which incarnate peacefulness and prosperity for Indonesian nation and mankind in the whole world.
